Changes in the political climate, shifting cultural norms and increased social media usage over the past five years have paved the way for increased discussion on the First Amendment. In a world where spreading our message is easier than ever, it is imperative to know the vast expense these rights provide Americans as well as their limits. The following is an analysis of college students' knowledge of First Amendment Rights, and a proposal for how to increase awareness and discuss the importance of this issue.
